Youth Town Hall Meeting
Parents' Page
Thank you for your interest in this event. Our boys are very excited about hosting a Youth Town Hall. We have included a couple links which you might want to review and discuss with your children before the event. One explores the US government and has activities and games for all ages. The other has a list of the bills filed this session.

While this event is for the youth and questions will be screened ahead of time, there are some topics being discussed in the government that might be confusing for our youngest youth. What one parent views as a controversial topic, another might be very open about with his child. We do not plan to censor topics. If it is something being debated on the floor of the House or Senate, it is open to discussion. That being said, questions will be previewed to make sure they are polite and appropriate. We hope that this will prompt you to have some discussions about current issues with your children.

This is a great, kid-friendly site, which explains how government works and how a bill becomes a law. This is a great educational resource!
Here is a list of all bills filed this year, along with the bills which have been passed into law. With over 5000 bills filed, this is a lot to read.
